Former President Donald Trump has demanded a full apology from one of Forbes’ most popular magazines.

Here is the detailed news.

Donald Trump demands apology from Forbes, alleging false information

On Tuesday, former United States President Donald Trump and 2024 Republican presidential candidate demanded an apology from Forbes, saying the magazine published false articles about him.

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform: “I hereby demand a full apology from the bankrupt Forbes magazine and their third-rate psychopathic writer, Dan Alexander, for the numerous false and defamatory articles they have written about me and for the cooperation they gave to the racist and incompetent AG of New York State, Peekaboo James.

The former president’s criticism of Forbes comes after the magazine removed him from its list of the 400 richest people in the United States for the second time in three years.

Trump, a 2024 GOP frontrunner, wrote: “For years, Forbes has attacked me with really stupid writers tasked with hitting me hard, and I’m now 60 points ahead of the Republicans and I beats Crooked Joe by a lot. So much for Forbes.

Although Forbes is owned by a Hong Kong-based investment company, Integrated Whale Media Investment, Trump argued that the Chinese communist government owns Forbes and that “China will do anything to stop MAGA.” Forbes, a globalist rag, is a propaganda game against TRUMP.”

Dan Alexander, whom Trump has accused of writing false articles, is an editor at Forbes and the author of a book about Trump, “White House Inc: How Donald Trump Turned the Presidency Into a Business.”

He responded Wednesday with a tweet saying: “Hey Donald Trump, if you want to point out a single false fact in one of the articles I published about you or in the book I wrote about you, don’t dont hesitate. In the meantime, I will continue to carefully report and fact-check every word I post.

In September, Alexander wrote in an article about Trump’s finances: “The State of New York is suing Donald Trump and his company for financial fraud.

Forbes has documents and a recording of Trump speaking about 40 Wall Street, the first building mentioned in the attorney general’s press conference, that appear to support his claims.

He adds: “Two Forbes journalists received subpoenas from the Manhattan District Attorney last year and had to testify before a grand jury to confirm information in two articles detailing Trump’s schemes.

Forbes, however, has documents that prosecutors don’t, including notes from interviews over the years and an audio recording from 2015 that places Trump right at the center of the alleged deception.

Besides Forbes, through his message, Trump expressed his frustration with New York Attorney General Letitia James, who sued him in a civil fraud case in New York, alleging that the former president manipulated the value of properties and businesses to demonstrate profits.

The former president accused Forbes of cooperating with his ongoing fraud trial. He called AG Letitia James “racist and incompetent” and included him in his position under a special name called “Peekaboo.”

Despite his legal troubles, the former president retained the lead of all the candidates for the Republican nomination for the 2024 presidential election.

As such, Trump’s indictments do not appear to affect his presidential run. But Trump appears to strongly object to anything he says, false details about his properties or affairs in any form in news reports.
