Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives have opened an impeachment inquiry against the president after months of investigating his son Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings.
Republicans have alleged that Biden abused his authority while vice president to help his son, and that the president himself benefited financially from the trade deals.
Biden’s impeachment trial was led by House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan presented some facts based on his investigation, alleging that Biden used his powers while vice president to benefit Hunter Biden.
