Career
Nirisha wanted to be an actor since childhood and her family did not want to send her to the glamor industry. One day she ran away from home and came to Mumbai. After a few months of struggle in the acting industry, she got her first break in 2016 with the television show Chandra Nandini. She appeared as Rajkumari Alice in the show, and after that she was also selected for the Nepali film Jani Najani.
Nirisha Basnett is currently working in Hindi television shows and has worked in several television shows including Prithvi Vallabh and Tenali Rama.
In January 2024, she appeared in Amazon Mini TV’s romantic comedy-drama television series Badi Heroine Banti Hai, which was released on January 19, 2024. In this serial she starred alongside Rajeev Siddhartha and Prerna Lisa.
