It was previously reported that T-Mobile had been pushing users on its older plans to upgrade to a more expensive, newer plan. The company argues that this is in the customer’s best interest and is only moving them to plans with more benefits.

Opting out of forced migration is a simple process to request. Inform the agent that you would like the unsubscribe code inserted into your account and that you would prefer to opt out of the planned account migration. Make sure your account has the unsubscribe code added.

According to sources, many customers have already requested to unsubscribe without problem. Additionally, you can check if your request was submitted correctly, but T-Mobile deleted it.

To check the submission status of your application, follow the steps provided:

  • Visit the official T-Mobile website at https://account.t-mobile.com/signin/v2/
  • Log in or sign up for your T-Mobile account
  • After that, if you see “SC Migration Opt Out” under “Services”.
  • Then your attempt to remove the migration was successful.

The Services page no longer displays the migration opt-out list. Naturally, this led some to believe that the opt-out was immediately withdrawn, which is not the case.

It has been reorganized so that it no longer appears in the list of services but is still associated with the account. So you don’t need to worry if you can’t check whether the unsubscribe code has been added to your account or not.
