Sam Bahadur is an upcoming historical drama directed by filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, known for Raazi and Talvar films. The film is based on the true events and life story of Sam Manekshaw. It is bankrolled by Ronnie Screwwvala under the production house RSVP Movies. The film stars Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima in the lead roles. Ketan Sodha composed the songs and background music together with Shankar-Ehsaan-Lay.
The first phase of the film shooting process has started. In 2021, RSVP Movies made its first announcement regarding the film on the 107th birth anniversary of the late Sam Manekshaw. The trailer of the Sam Bahadur film was released today (November 7, 2023) at 5 PM by Chief of Army Staff Manoj Pande.
