The conference is expected to highlight protecting Florida from COVID-related mandates. Still, that makes it a major argument between Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and black members of the public.
As the conference went smoothly, the man in the audience told him that when he was a veteran and appreciated the governor’s military service, he felt DeSantis’ policies allowed “immature people” to kill and became the “cause of the death of the people who were murdered a few weeks ago.

Ron objected to his statement: “I’m not going to let you accuse me of committing criminal activity.” I’m not going to accept that.” The black audience member said, “You allowed people to drive away people like me,” and their argument heated up. Ron replied, “Oh, that’s absurd. It’s so absurd.” And all the audience present begins to discuss.
Later, the man from the audience disappeared from the conference news, when the controversy intensified. Subsequently, the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida noticed the man’s statement and double-checked video of the encounter online.

A group of many people posted on Twitter that “Gov. DeSantis’ policies have made Florida less safe for Black Floridians. When the argument escalates, the local leader should interrupt the discussion to normalize the argument.
After news of the conference ended, a DeSantis appointee, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, who spoke earlier about COVID vaccines and also who is black, said, “It’s terrible that people are taking advantage “From the fact that he is a different color than the poor victims of this tragedy to try to link him to something,” he said, these people are truly “crazy” and “insane.”

He is expected to reschedule his campaign in Iowa this weekend, where he will take part in a bus tour with Never Back Down.
