The Republican presidential candidate has called on countries supporting Hamas to welcome Palestinian refugees as the war between Israel and Hamas continues.
Here is the detailed news.
Countries supporting Hamas should welcome Palestinian refugees (Nikki Haley)
Former UN Ambassador and 2024 Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley has continued to express her opinions on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in her various media appearances in recent days.
In an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News on Tuesday, Haley criticized Middle Eastern countries that support Hamas and argued that those countries should allow Palestinian refugees into their borders. She said Arab countries should welcome refugees from Gaza and the United States should continue to support Israel.

Haley said: “I have always said that we should not welcome refugees from Gaza into the United States. I said when I was at the UN that we should not bring Syrian refugees to the United States. I believe those in the region should welcome them. »
Haley continued: “I then said that about Syria. That’s why Jordan and Turkey have taken in the bulk of the refugees there, and I think, honestly, that countries sympathetic to Hamas should take in these Gazans now. We’re talking about Qatar, we’re talking about Iran, we’re talking about Turkey.
Additionally, the former South Carolina governor expressed her frustration with nations supporting Hamas by making similar statements during her Sunday interview appearance.

Haley said: “We should care about Palestinian citizens, especially the innocent ones, because they didn’t ask for this. But where are the Arab countries? Where are they? Where is Qatar? Where is Lebanon? Where is Jordan? Where is Egypt? Do you know that we give Egypt more than a billion dollars a year? Why don’t they open the doors? Why don’t they take the Palestinians?
Haley’s views regarding Palestinian refugees echo those of another presidential candidate, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has also said the United States should not allow refugees from Gaza.
The Republican presidential candidate also criticized former US President Barack Obama and current President Joe Biden for the nuclear deal with Iran. She also criticized Tehran for ensuring the repression of Hamas and Hezbollah.
Nikki Haley’s statement comes as several Middle Eastern countries, such as Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon, have indicated their support for Hamas in its war against Israel.

The battle between Israel and Hamas began on October 7, 2023, after the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas attacked Israel, crossing its borders and firing around 3,000 rockets at it, killing nearly 1,400 Israelis.
In response, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched several airstrikes in the Gaga Strip to attack key Hamas infrastructure in the affected areas.
So far, the war has engulfed thousands of people in Israel and the Gaza Strip.
