House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan announced the date for Hunter Biden’s special counsel to testify before the committee.
Here is the detailed news.
Jordan announces date Hunter Biden’s special counsel will testify
U.S. Representative from Ohio and Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan advised that Special Counsel David Weiss, who investigated the gun-related charges of President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden will testify before the committee next month.
Announcing the schedule during Sunday’s “Sunday Morning Futures” interview, Jordan said, “David Weiss has committed to appearing before the committee on October 18, so we can look forward to that.”
David Charles Weiss is a United States Attorney from Delaware whom former President Donald Trump appointed to the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

He was named special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden’s case in August. As a result of his investigation, Hunter Biden was indicted on three firearms-related charges.
Weiss is also involved in House Republicans’ investigation into the Biden family’s foreign business dealings.
Jordan and Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer investigated the time Hunter Biden was employed at Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company, while Joe Biden was vice president.

In the interview, Jordan argued that President Joe Biden was connected to Hundet Biden’s case. He claimed to have evidence against the US president for his alleged corrupt practices.
Referring to the same, Jordan said: “You can boil down this issue of Joe Biden’s alleged corruption to the situation in Burma. »
Jordan continued: “Burisma, I think, captures everything. Hunter Biden is on the board and gets a lot of money. Fact #2: He was not qualified to serve on the board.
Fact #3: Burisma executives asked him: “Can you help us with the pressure we are facing?” Fact #4: Joe Biden is getting himself fired (Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin) and exploiting American taxpayer money to do it.
Jordan criticized the Justice Department for failing to take adequate action against the president and his son despite filing criminal tax charges against Hunter Biden.

“And then what does Attorney General Merrick Garland’s Justice Department do? They’re trying to sweep it under the rug, so much so that they let the statute of limitations expire on the more serious tax problems that Hunter Biden had in 2014 and 2015. They let it expire because those are the years that focused on Burisma. revenue,” Jordan added.
However, according to the sources, the investigations did not reveal any financial benefit to the president from Hunter’s affairs.
There is also no evidence to prove that Biden proposed any policies to help his son’s business while he was vice president.
Because of Jordan’s investigation, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced Biden’s first formal impeachment inquiry last month. Comer said last week that Biden’s first impeachment inquiry hearing would take place on September 28, 2023.
