Nikki Haley to House GOP: ‘They need to get their act together’
2024 US presidential candidate and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has expressed her frustration as the battle to elect the new Speaker of the House continues.
In an interview with Jake Tapper on “State of the Union” on Sunday, Haley asked Republicans to come together to end the current chaos in the House regarding the speaker’s election since the former president left the House. The presidential candidate also blamed Democrats for the continued disorder in the House.

In her statements, Haley said, “The chaos that shook the House cannot ‘fix Democratic chaos.’ We cannot resolve Democratic chaos with Republican chaos. They need to get their act together. They have to walk into a room, figure out who it is, and come out united. This is not a good overview. This is not good for our country.
Haley said, “The GOP better get its act together and remember what it felt like on September 12 because we have a lot of threats and a lot of chaos around us.”

Haley highlighted what she calls a distracted America when referring to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas: “We saw what happened to Israel when they got distracted. America seems so distracted right now. When America is distracted, the world is less safe.”
