Entrepreneur and 2024 presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has said he would forgive President Biden’s family if he becomes president next year, with the candidate drawing attention to his style of government.
Here are the details of the news.
Vivek Ramaswamy says he won’t sue Biden family if elected
On Sunday, Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy said he would not sue US President Joe Biden and his family if elected president in 2024.
In an interview with Fox News Sunday Morning Futures, Ramaswamy described his first days in the president’s office. He indicated he would not indict Biden’s family and would focus on boosting the US economy and ending the war in Ukraine.
Ramaswamy said, “But what I said, let me fast forward to January 21, 2025: my second day in office, after granting these pardons and setting in motion the FBI shutdown, not just the reform, in fact the restoration of the integrity of our government.”

The presidential candidate continued, “The question is, does the next thing I want to do after moving our nation forward is to focus my agenda on the persecution or prosecution of Joe Biden or his family. ? My answer to this question is no. I will focus on stimulating the economy, ending the war in Ukraine and declaring independence from China. This is how we win as a nation.
“So, no, I’m not going to be driven by revenge and grievances. I will be guided by integrity. But the first step to getting there is that there can be no reconciliation without truth. We need to get to the bottom of including this bribe. I believe paid to the Biden family, how this relates to our war in Ukraine and support in Ukraine, get to the bottom of this first,” Ramaswamy added.
Earlier in June, the presidential candidate promised to pardon former President Donald Trump after he was charged with 37 felony counts for his alleged mishandling of classified documents after leaving the White House in 2021.

Ramaswamy tweeted, “It would be a lot easier for me to win this election if Trump wasn’t in the running, but I stand for principle over politics. I pledge to pardon Trump promptly on January 20, 2025 and restore the rule of law to our country.
The former and current president were investigated by a special counsel for the discovery of classified documents at their homes after leaving their respective offices.
Some classified documents were found between November 2022 and January 2023 in Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware, home dating back to his time as Vice President in the Obama administration.

While Biden turned the documents over to investigators, saying, “We are cooperating fully and look forward to resolving this matter quickly,” Trump, on the other hand, has consistently attempted to hide the documents and made false statements about the records to following which the former president faces the indictment.
Ramaswamy, 37, is running as the youngest candidate against twelve other Republican candidates for the 2024 presidential nomination.
He is among six qualified candidates for the first Republican presidential debate scheduled for August 23, 2023 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
